English Story
After Yoritomo's death, Hojo Masako remained involved through disputed succession, alliances within her family and the Jokyu crisis. Follow the changing relationships behind her remembered name, the nun shogun, and the later records and images through which her life is known.

伊豆で頼朝と結ばれた北条政子は、夫の死後も鎌倉の政治に関わり続けた。頼家と実朝の継承、父・時政との対立、承久の乱をたどり、「尼将軍」の役割と後世に伝わる人物像を読む。
