English Story
From the fighting at Kamigoryo Shrine in 1467 to the dissolution of the Kyoto fronts in 1477, this article explains how succession disputes in the Ashikaga, Hatakeyama, and Shiba houses combined with shogunal appointments and provincial struggles, allowing war to continue even after its best-known leaders died.
