Osaka’s Winter Campaign ended in a settlement rather than the destruction of its keep. Follow the bell-inscription dispute, surrounding battles, bombardment and the agreement that altered the moats, while separating winter earthworks from later Tokugawa rebuilding.

English Story
From the filling of Osaka Castle's moats after the Winter Campaign to the battles at Domyoji, Yao, Wakae, Tennoji, and Okayama, this article follows the Toyotomi side's narrowing choices, the castle's fall, and the end of the house in May 1615.
